My dear Mr. Grosman:
S. TRUMAIS
Your letter of September fourth to the
SERVICE
President has been received and I want to assure
NY COVERNMENT
you that the spirit of helpfulness which prompted
your request is appreciated. Unfortunately, it
is impossible to arrange an interview for you just
now, as there is no immediate prospect of a relax-
ation of the official duties facing the President
now that he has returned from his trip to San
Francisco where he opened the Treaty Sessions.
Should you wish to send a memorandum to
the President, in my care, concerning the plan you
have in mind, I assure you it will be given careful
attention.
Very sincerely yours,
MATTHEW J. CONNELLY
Secretary to the President
Mr. Arthur P. Grosman,
698 Anderson Avenue,
socialized mercine
Cliffside Park,
New Jersey.
