Dear sir,
I convey to you, attached , a copy of
my letter to Professor Colston E. Warne, who
is reported in newspapers of October 31 as
having refused to sign the government's
Loyalty Pledge for reasons of conscience.
I too am a Democrat without Communist
beliefs or affiliations. I was honorably
discharged from AUS at close of the recent
war, and continued to serve the government
in the Treasury Department foralmost a year.
No further amplification or comment
seems necessary.
