Steel strike
you
July 25, 1952
PERSONAL
Dear Mr. Sulzberger:
#
Now that the steel strike. has been settled at
last, I want to write you about the reporting of
144
Abe Raskin. He did a most excellent job throughout,
and deserves the highest compliments.
While it is certainly not a newspaper reporter's
job to assist in securing a settlement, the fine way in
which he did accurate reporting was actually helpful to-
ward bringing about a settlement. My congratulations to
him, and to you for having him on the job.
With all good wishes.
Sincerely,
(Signed) JOHN a. STASLMAN
