My dear Mr. Winters:
The President has received your letter
of June seventh, on behalf of your organization.
He wants you to know that he appreciates your ex-
pressions of approval of his efforts regarding
the steel situation. In this connection, you may
wish to see the enclosed copy of his Message to
the Congress of June tenth.
The good wishes you extend to the Presi-
dent pleased him very much and he asks me to thank
you for your thoughtfulness in writing.
