Mans greatest folly thus far is undoubtedly
creating the Hydrogen bomb. It will be a greater menace to have
than is Russia or any enemy right now.
We have enough Atom bombs to destroy our potential
enemies, don't use them, what good will millions of tons of bombs
be anythig but a menace to ourselves if the enemy chooses to blow
them up for us, which would be all the bombs said enemy needs. We
cannot keep our stock piles or factories secret from all Communists
or other ebeniessince it is apparent that we have both, so where is
the wisdom of creating this monstrous weapon that is sure to destroy
us, if not the whole earth.
It is plain that the Atom bomb enterprise has disrup-
ted the routine functioning of the earth, and no doubt, in sequence,
other planets. This hydrogen bomb will be the final straw for break-
ing up more of the earth sphere and anihilation of life than all or
any of previous wars did. Which is more scared of the other, Russia or
are we.
Let us either use what we already have or quit shouting
at the other fellow how safe we are with much better and bigger stock
piles of protection that is in reality a worse menace to us than the
enemy-if they choose to explode our SAFETY. Besides these weapons
are so explosive in themselves something could happen to set them
off. Why can't men stop at good enough
