My dear Bob:
Your letter has been received and I
sincerely regret to advise that we are unable
to meet your wishes. The President is so very
busy these days with urgent official duties that
he has asked his friends to excuse him from all
autographing. I know that you will understand.

Very sincerely yours,
Matthew J. COMMELLY
Secretary to the President
Bob Foster,
861 Pine Street,
Danville,
