My dear Adelaide:
Your letter has been received and I an
indeed sorry to advise that the President is BO
very busy these days it is simply impossible for
him to comply with the many, many requests for his
autograph which are being received.
I want to assure you, however, that your
friendly thought in writing is appreciated and ex-
tend to you, on behalf of the President, very best
wishes.
