GOVERNI
Dear Mr. Israel:
I have your letter, addressed to Mr.
Charles E. Wilson, Chairman of the President's
Committee on Civil Rights, in connection with your
teaching guide, which you have used at Erasmus Hall
High School.
When the President received this report,
he said he hoped that Americans generally would
read and study it.
I think your teaching guide makes a fine
contribution in this direction, and I am very glad
to have had an opportunity to see it.
Cordially,
DAVID K. NILES
Administrative Assistant
to the President
Mr. Saul Israel,
911 Flatbush Avenue,
Brooklyn 30, New York.
