DRUCIE SNYDER TO BE A BRIDE-Miss Snyder, daughter of
the Secretary of the Treasury and Mrs. Snyder, posed yesterday
with her fiance, Maj. John Ernest Horton, White House aide.
A popular member of Washington society, 24-year-old Miss
Snyder was graduated from George Washington University
and has taken a prominent part in civic life. She was queen of
the President's Cup Regatta in 1946. Her fiance is a 30-year-old
Army officer who lives at 700 Manor road, Alexandria. (Story
