WHEN - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 4-5-6.
WHY
- To attend the reunion and act as Guard of Honor to
our Captain Harry S. Truman,
THE PRESILENT OF THE UNITED STATES
SCHEDULE:
Friday, June 4: 36th Division Business Meeting
Saturday, June 5: 10:30 a.m. Parade. Captain Harry says he
will walk at least part way with Dizzy "D".
Sunday, June 6: 1:30 p.m. The President will dedicate
Omahas' new Memorial Park,
Eddie McKim, Co-Chairman on arrangements for the 35TH DIVISION
REUNION in Omaha, Nebraska, will make hotel reservations
for any of the Gang.
The Burlington Railroad will run a SPECIAL TRAIN
Leaving Kansas City Friday June 4 11:45 p.m. (Snack bar will serve
Arriving Omaha Saturday June 5 7:00 a.m. (beer & sandwiches
Fare: Coach, round trip including tax $10.35
Pullman lowers available (but who wants to sleep b) $21.46
Tickets good on regular trains:
Leaving Omaha 4:30 p.m. Arriving KC 9:25 p.m.
Leaving Omaha 11:45 p.m. Arriving KC 7:00 a.m.
You must be in Omaha early Saturday June 5 in time for the Parade.
Then you can leave or stay over.
Please return enclosed postcard indicating whether: You will is,
attend or not, You will want hotel reservations, For how many,
and for what days, You will go by Burlington Special Train,
Fly, Bus, Drive, Hitch Hike, Walk, Horseback, or Assback.
