ALL ABOARD FOR ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI!
#
To date 59 Members of "D" Battery will attend the 35th
Division Reunion June 9, 10 and 11, 1950.
"D" Battery Headquarters will be Parlor C and Parlor D at
the DESoto Hotel, 11th & Locust Streets, St. Louis, Missouri.
The St. Louis "D" Battery Committee will have Canes, "D"
Battery Arm Bands and all information available.
THE PROGRAM
June 9th Friday night, 48 will attend Municipal Opera, others
are free to attend the Baseball Game Friday night, or
attend the Ball and Gala at the City Auditorium,
$10.00 per person.
June 10th Saturday 7:30 A.M., Breakfast with
Captain Harry S. Truman
Crystal Room
Jefferson Hotel
12:00 Noon, Memorial Service at the Civic Center,
World War II Memorial.
Immediately thereafter "D" Battery with 1st Sgt.
Paul T. Seiben with whistle in charge will assemble and
act as Guard of Honor to the President of the
United States in the Parade.
After the Parade, the President will go to the
Jefferson Memorial Site and make his speech.
Baseball Games, Saturday Afternoon
June 11th Sunday Mass, 11:00 A.M.
Remarks
Wear Dark Trousers and White Shirts - N.B.C. will
televise "D" Battery activities throughout the U.S.A.
The Voice of America will broadcast all over the world.
