Dear Mr. Held:
You know, of course, that I am deeply
grateful to you and the members of your Committee
for sending me that sympathetic message. The
great tragedy is that this incident cost the life
of one of our White House Guards, and wounded two
others.
Many, many thanks for your thoughtful
good wishes.
