My dear Mrs. Womble:
The President has received your letter
of July twentieth commending him regarding his
radio address. He wants you to know that he ap-
preciates your kind thought in writing and sub-
mitting your views.
It was good of you to assure the
President that the citizens of our Nation are
supporting the stand we have taken in the Korean
situation. He asks me to thank you sincerely
for your friendly expressions.
