Honorable Harry S. Truman
President of the United States
b
Washington, D.C.
Dear Sir:
The enclosed clipping was taken from the Fort Worth Star-
Telegram, a paper that has a circulation of two hundred thousand
in North and West Texas.
The article enclosed was written by Dr. Jeff D. Ray, Bible
Teacher in the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Seminary
Hill, Texas. Dr. Ray writes a daily article for the Fort Worth
Star-Telegram.
The church people of Texas admire you as a Christian gentle-
man, and as President of the United States, and look upon you as a
man of prayer and an orthodox churchman. Like Dr. Ray we want the
press to be fair with you.
Respectfully yours,
S.V. Dickenson
