PRINCETON UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY OFFICE OF PUBLIC OPINION RESEARCH WOODROW WILSON SCHOOL BLDG. Ivy LANE PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY October 22, 1951 Mr. Joseph Phillips Psychological Strategy Board 708 Jackson Place, N. W. Washington 25, D.C. Dear Mr. Phillips: I am taking the liberty to enclose two copies of the third revision of that message which Howland Sargeant showed you many months ago. I made a revision of it since there are certain parties interested in having it translated and published abroad. This revision is somewhat shorter than the earlier memorandum, and contains a few new emphases. I was delighted to see Wally Irwin, and wish you all the best of luck. Sincerely, TRUMAN "NATIONAL Hustley ARCHIVES AND Hadley Cantril HC:vz Enclosures
