Dear Nat:
I certainly appreciated your letter of
the fifteenth and I wish I could make
the arrangements you suggested.
I thought when I received your first
letter I would be able to do it but the
Message business is piling up so high
here that I won't be able to be at home
except for Christnas day.
I expect to leave here Christmas morning
and return the next morning.
I am sorry about it but I have three
Messages to propare for the Congress
and they must be ready on time.
Sincerely yours,
HARRY S. TRUMAN
