US URGENT
2628, June 15, 11 a.m.
Field Marshal Alexander has sent urgent personal
message (ref our 2624, June 14) to Gen Morgan saying
he is becoming increasingly concerned with slow
progress of negotiations and is particularly disturbed
over mention of such terms as "joint military committee"
"joint operating control agencies" and "joint economic
agency". SAC stated that these terms indicated that
action is being considered which if adopted would
give Yugos voice and control in activities west
of liorgan Line in which they have absolutely no
right to participate. It was pointed out they
would thus infiltrate themselves into various
agencies of AMG- and therefore achieve very ends

that we have been trying vith so much difficulty to
avoid.
