Charles H. Tompkins Company, Inc.
Reference is made to the Office Memorandum from Special Agent in Charge
Rowley, White House to Chief dated December 13, 1950.
On this date, Mr. Francis Tompkins, builder-contractor for Charles H.
Tompkins Company, Inc., 907 - 16th Street, N.W., was contacted by Special
Agent Frank G. Stoner. When questioned as to whethe: or not his company
submitted plans of the building in the purchase of insurance covering
the construction of the East Wing of the White House, he advised that
no insurance was purchased requiring submission of plans of the construction.
