Letter dated 12=16-47 addressed to Mr. James J. Maloney
Chief, U.S.Secret Service - complimenting the performance
of Mr. Rowley in Florida on December si th the day the
bus the White House reporters and photographers were in
on their way to the air field at Naples, had a blowout. In a
few minutes Mr. Rowley had all in patrol cars speeding down
the Tamiami Trail and they were able to catch up with
President Truman before the official party reached the
air field at Naples.
