Dear Mr. President:
In accordance with your instructions, I have pre-
pared and enclose brief surveys of the political situa-
tions in Poland, Rumania, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Albania,
Hungary, Austria and Czechoslovakia.
Should you desire a more extensive discussion of
any phases of these subjects, I shall have further
material prepared.
