Dear Mr. Prime Minister:
I can't tell you how very much I appreciate your
communication about your sending additional
troops to Korea from Australia.
Our whole country will appreciate that as much as
any country can. Your men are real fighting men
and they are an asset to the United Nations Forces
in Korea and will make a great contribution to our
victory there.
Again, please accept my sincere thanks.
Sincerely yours,
HARRY S. TRUMAN
The Right Honorable Robert Menzies
Prime Minister of Australia
