MEMORANDUM FOR: Dean Acheson
Acting Secretary
FROM:
The President
Replying to your RUSH memorandum
of the twenty-first about proposed visit of
Prime Minister Mackenzie King, I wish he
would postpone that visit until his return,
because I have got things pretty well set
for Saturday and don't expect to be in
Washington Sunday, if I can help it.
If it is absolutely essential, however,
that I stay here and meet him I will be glad to
do it.
