The White House,
Washington, D. C.
Dear Harry:-
On receipt of the cablegram I immediately wrote
Dr. Vogel asking him to give me some details. As you know,
the Doctor is in a sanatorium.
I have copied sections of the letter written by
his friend. Dr. Bernhard, and enclose it for your information.
My experiences in Germany convince me that our
German brethren are taking the correct attitude.
