Arrive in Washington by air from Montreal
and proceed to Blair House.
5:30 p.m. to
Reception under the auspices of the Press
6:15 p.m.
Associations in Washington to be held at
the National Press Club.
8:00 p.m.
Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh
will dine with the President and Mrs. Truman
at Blair House.
They will spend the night at Blair House.
Thursday, October 25
10:30 a.m. to Photographs and motion pictures will be
11:00 a.m.
taken at the Canadian Embassy.
12:00 noon
Reception to meet senior officials of
Commonwealth countries at the Canadian
Embassy.
1:00 p.m.
Lunch privately at Blair House, if con-
venient to the President and Mrs. Truman.
4:00 p.m. to
Reception at British Embassy.
5:00 p.m.
8:00 p.m.
Princess Elizabeth will give a dinner in
honor of the President and Mrs. Truman at
the Canadian Embassy.
They will spend the night at Blair House.
Friday, October 26
10:00 a.m.
Visit Mount Vernon, Arlington Cemetery and
make a short motor tour of Washington.
12:00 noon
Depart from Washington by air.
