HASSETT Subject: American Relief for Italy, Inc. I am enclosing for the President's information a copy of a letter of April 18th from Mr. Myron Taylor addressed to Secretary Stettinius, and a paraphrase of the telegram which Mr. Taylor sent to President Roosevelt on December 13, 1944. This telegram refers to the difficulties connected with the delivery of relief supplies for Italy.
