- 3 - The Constitutional Monarch of Iran, His Majesty Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi, has been invited by President Truman to visit America in late November. It is with pleasure and interest that the young, but mature, ruler of Iran, who has the welfare of his people at heart, is looking forward to acquiring personal insight into American agricultural and industrial methods and into the way of life which has made of this great country the most pwerful world factor for peace and ordered liberty. In his own realm, the Shah and his parliament have recently achieved greater tranquility and stability by outlawing the Tudeh (Communist) party, by ordering elections for a Seante and by hastening the execution of the social and economic improvement programo ARCHIVES SERVICE' RECORDS
