THE WHITE HOUSE APR 22 8 27 AM '52 RECEIVED STATSMINISTERN Stockholm April 19th 1952. Dear Mr. President, On my first day in Stockholm after my fortnight's tour in the United States I hasten to beg you, Mr. President, to accept the expressions of my sincere gratitude for all the kindness shown to me during my visit to your great country. It has been a true honour to Sweden and to me personally to be received like this by the President of the United States. I shall ever cherish the recollection of the privilege to meet one of the men in the world of today to whom has been given the power to influence the present world situation. I venture to remind you of your promise to visit this country when you will find time to make a European trip. Of course we have not so much to show as you have in America. But you will not be able to be mistaken in the cordial welcome extended to you over here. Believe me, Mr. President, respectfully and sincerely yours, Imm Mander Mr. Harry S. Truman, President of the United States of America, Nashingto n , D.C.
