9-20-48 PUEBLO, COLORADO go TRUMAN "NATIONAL ARCHIVES AND RECORDS INTRODUCTION SERVICE" GOVERNMENT 1. I am very happy to be here today in Pueblo, a good Democratic city. 2. I understand Pueblo has nearly doubled its population in the last ten years, and your mines and mills are running full blast. 3. Your city certainly looks prosperous - but I understand that prices are high here. 4. That is the way it is all over the country today. People are more prosperous than they have ever been before, but nearly all of them are worried about high prices.
