1. Weather:
Rain and low ceilings over all Korea, visibilities 1 to 3 miles, except
northwest Korea, 2,000 feet overcast, visibility unrestricted. Forecast:
Low ceilings and visibilities in rain until 0400/23 (KT), after that broken
low clouds from 2,500 to 6,000 feet, rain showers central Korea afternoon
and early evening, visibility 10 miles except 3 miles in rain. (FEAF)

3. Operations:
ENEMY SITUATION
a. In the west coast sector an estimated enemy battalion of the 4th
North Korean Division was engaged by local ROK police forces in the
vicinity of Imsil. Chongup and Imsil are both, reportedly, held by ROK
forces. (FECOM) (SECRET)
b. The offensive of the 3rd North Korean Division on the Taejon-
Yongdong axis continues. (FECOM) (SECRET)
C. The attack of the 2₫ North Korean Division forced a withdrawal
of the First ROK Corps to the vicinity of Poun. (FECOM) (SECRET)
d. Reports indicate a confinuous build-up of personnel and equipment
by the enemy in the Yonpung - Mungyong area. (FECOM) (SECRET)
