NAVY:
f. Naval and Marine aircraft flew a total of 244 sorties, including 120
from VALLEY FORGE and PHILIPPINE SEA on the east coast, 21 by Patrons,
and 103 by shore-based USMC. GLORY, on the west coast, replenished and
conducted no air operations. East coast carrier aircraft struck targets in
the vicinity of Hamhung, Yangdok, and Wonsan. 1st MAW flew no close
support sorties for 1st MarDiv. (COMNAVFE) (SECRET)
g. On the least coast, ENDICOTT and COLOHAN bombarded targets
at Songjin and Tanchon; HALSEY POWELL fired on Hungnam. GREGORY

h. On the west coast, CHARITY bombarded troop positions and
buildings in the vicinity of Taedong. SIOUX fired on enemy gun positions

j. Following targets bombarded with unobserved results: villages,
warehouses, bridges, railroad facilities and equipment, buildings, shore
batteries, troop positions and other enemy targets. (COMNAVFE) (SECRET)
AIR:
K. On 11 February, UN aircraft under FEAF control (less USMC)
flew 671 sorties. Four hundred combat sorties were flown of which 32 were
by RAAF, 17 by SAAF, and 17 by ROKAF aircraft. All tactical UN aircraft
under FEAF control flew 303 armed reconnaissance, 136 counter air, and
55 night intruder sorties, (5 by USMC). The 315th Air Division flew 117
sorties, airlifting 2, 894 passengers, 166 evacuees, and 231 tons of freight.
