Dear J. C.:
I appreciated very much your nice letter
of the seventeenth and I am very happy
that you have gone to work for TWA. I
think you will have a better chance to
get somewhere with Airlines than with
other organizations in the country.
Yes, I remember Mr. Inwood. I have known
him ever since I was presiding Judge of
the County Court. He is a good man - give
him my best regards.
I am glad you liked the watch and the book
on the Missouri. I'll certainly be dis-
appointed if you don't bring Mary and the
children to see me when I get to Independence.
Your Aunt Bess and Margaret are both well
and want to be remembered to you. Your
Aunt liked what you said about her in the
last sentence. Give my best to Mary and
all the children and tell the rest of your
family hello when you see them.
Sincerely yours,
Mr. J. C. Truman
