C.: I appreciated your good letter of the 30th very much, and I am glad the hat was a good fit, and I hope you liked it. I was also very happy that you were able to get tickets to Margaret's concert. She was very anxious that all the family should be present. She has worked very hard to attain a professional standing. I hope she will be successful in at- taining that goal. We have tried our best to keep from using her connections with the White House in any way in her singing career. I hope all the family are well, and that everything is going well with you.
