He said that beginning in January Chinese supplies now
stored at Karachi are to be carried to Zahidan regardless
of whether or not the agreement is in full working order
by that time. He said the goods might as woll deteriorate
at Zahidan as at Karachi. He also made it clear that the
1,120 trucks requested by the Soviet official referred to
above, would have to come from American Lend-Lease supplies.
