Dear Mr. Morris:
Before leaving on a hurried trip to
St. Louis last evening, Senator Truman asked me
to write you concerning the case of Josef Glass-
gall of Vienna, who has made application for a
visa to come to the United States.
His sponsor is Mr. Ous Sarachek, one
of the outstanding citizens and business men of
Kansas City. We understend that Mr. Sarachek
has already supplied you with all the necessary
affádávits in behalf of Mr. Glasgall.

anything you may be able to do to have this young
man released. The attached copies of correspond

ence will explain the case fully.
