Gustave Klausner 5601 Washington Court St. Louis, Missouri October 21 1941 C H. H. Vaughan, Secretary to Senator Harry S. Truman, Washington, D. C. My dear Cod. Vaughan: I received ar letter from Senator Truman, with a copy of a letter from the State Department informing me that visas have been granted to my nephews now residing in the un- occupied part of France. I know that you had a good deal to do with that, and I want to take this occasion to express to you personally sincerest thanks for the efforts you have made in behalf of these un- fortunate ones, who, I know, will become useful citizens of the United States upon their arrival. Thanking you for your kindness, and expressing my deep appreciation to the Senator, I beg to remain, with warmest personal regards, Sincerely yours, Gustave Klausner. TRUMAN GK/s NATIONAL ADMIN.
