ROSS Secretary to the President TO THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES: FRUMAN NARA With a view to receiving the advice and consent of the Senate to ratification, I transmit herewith a certified copy of the Inter-American Convention on the Rights of the Author in Literary, Sciontific, and Artistic Works signed at Washington on June 22, 1946 on behalf of the United States of America and each of the other twenty American republics. I transmit also for the information of the Senate the report by the Secretary of State regarding the convention, together with a copy of the Report of the United States Delegate to the Inter-American Con= ference of Experts on Copyright at which the Convention was formulated.
