GOVERNMENT
It is with sincere apprecia-
tion that Mrs. Truman read your letter.
She has asked me to thank you for the
generous praise you wrote of her and
her family.
She has had to forego many
activities prior to the Inauguration
and her calendar is a very full one for
some time ahead, She is very sorry that
she can not have the pleasure of arrang-
ing an interview with you at the present
time.
