esquire the May St - the two Houses of the Legislature have July considered your meforge relating to the furge of Toobato for the County of Bristol and to the Sheriff of the County of Physionoth, with the advice of Council accompanying the samery would thereupon infain your excellency, that as they profectly concer with the advice your Council have given you, upon the subject of of Trobates 30 are they convinced, shat if he should continue to hold that office, and a t the same time, discharge the duties of a representative in longrif, any future legislature will make such an addrefs to the governor, as will authorise him with the advice offerial trappount commition, some other person, to execute that office in the County of Bristol. As the Shiniff of the County of Blomouth holds his Office during the pleasure of the Supreme esecutive, and is at any time removable by the governor, with the advice of his Council, & not otherwise (unleys by the Senate on on impeachment) which right of advising the govemor in such cases is exclusively vested in the Council by the provisions made in our fonstitu tion, the two Houses do not conceive the intervention of the Legistaters upon that subject, either necepsary poporte from the conduct advice of your Councit, they see no reason to doubt the wisdom of that Constitutional form In
