SLIDELL - Funeral services
were scheduled here at 2 p:m.
today for Hugh Ward, pilot, of
the charter plane which crashed
in Mexico Friday killing former
New Orleans Mayor deLesspes
(Morrison, his younger son and
five others.
The funeral, at Poole Fu-
neral Home, marked the last
of three services for Louisiana
residents who died with Mor-
rison.
In Palm Beach, Flà. rites
were scheduled this morning for
Mrs. Carolyn Vandergrift and
her son, Christopher, 7, who
were also killed in the crash.
This morning, Daleigh Pelle-
grin, 47, Montegut, was buried
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church
(cemetery in Montegut follow-
ing religious rites at the
church at 9 a.m. Pellegrin was
an employe of Ovide J. Cenac,
Houma, who also died in the
Mexican crash.
Cenac, 59, was buried yester-
day in 11 a.m. services at St.
Frances de Sales Catholic
Chruch in Houma, followed by
interment in the church mauso
leum.
A close friend of Morrison,
Cenac headed a towing firm in
Houma.
Ward, a former active civie
worker in Slidell and chairman
of Slidell's Junior Chamber of
Commerce Miss America pag-
eant, had recently accepted a
job with the charter plane com-
pany from which Morrison,ren
ed the crashed plane,
He was to be buried in For-
est Lawn Cemetery here! Sur-
vivors include his wife and two
daughters, Gina, 2, and Cindv.
8 months, all of Corpus Christi,
Texi; his parents, Mr. and Mrs
John Ward, Slidell, and a sister
Mrs. Jerry Coffin, New Jersey
Cenac's survivors include his
wife, the former Eugene
Hebert; two sons, Clark and
Arlen Cenac, both of Houma;
four brothers, Arthur, Alfred,
Wilfred and Ernést Cehac; six
sisters, Mrs. Lydia Watkins,
Miss Urcile Cenac, Mrs. Louise
Delatte, Mrs. Céeille Guidry,
Mrs. Odette Wurzlow and Mrs.
Anette Brown, and 11 grand-
children.
Pellegrin is survived by his
wife, the former Delores Dugas
of Montegut; three daughters,
Mrs. Wayne Lirette, Montegut,
Miss Connie Pellegrin, a student
at the University of Southwest
ern Louisiana in Lafayette, and
Miss Brenda Pellegrin, a fresh-
man at South Terrebonne High
School in Houma: one brother
Nolar Pellegrin of Montegut,
