Memo re Jhonnly's description of Oswald's height:
Lee Onwold appears to have been about 5 feet, 11 inches
tall ( Selection Service Reg card says 5'11 [we Vol XXIII, P 743];
Passport says 5'11" [we ve XX 111 p. 819]; Medical exam,
while in service, says 5'11" [we vol xIX IP 584]; Princilla
Johnson who interviewed him in Russia, says 5'11" [we vol XX,
p. 277]; Osweld: 12 application for albut Schmentyer College
says 5'11" [we Val XVI, p.622].
However, Kerry Frornday - who also is appear-
simately 5 feet, 11 inchest testified to the Warren Commission
that Oswald was only about 5 feat, 5 inches tall -
a substantial variance from the official necord. Curronisty,
Jhonway was sufficiently impressed by Oswald to be
writing a book about him before the assassination but
-was not sufficiently imprissed by him to am be able
to recall that Oswald was as tall as he was.
