Curry es Page 9\nThe agent described as number two, made an. apology for having to ask this and\ncertain other questions, but stated he was asking all the officers he inter-\nviewed the same questions, and considering the seriousness of the matter felt\nit was a necessary duty, etc. Then I was asked if I knew of any other officers\nfriendly, or acquainted with Jack Ruby. I told them I refuse to answer this\n- question. I told them I would answer any question they asked me pertaining to\nme, and to incidents involving people I was with, but that I would not toll\nthem of any other officer I may have been talking to Ruby, in the light of\nthe question as it was presented. I told them if in any case I had the re-\nmotest suspiscion naming anyone would be vitally important to helping them,\nthen I would not hesitate to name the individual. But, to infer a relationship\nbased on a chance observation would be improper for me. I could state that Jack\nwas known by many officers hore, and to name some and not name others would be\nunfair, to say the least, not only to confounding the investigation, but to\nthe officers concerned, whose duty is to come forward if they have any informa-\ntion to give to the FPI, but not to be named just because I happened to remember\nseeing them in Ruby' S presence. They restated the question, but it was essen\ntially in the same frame of reference. I told them I would tell them anything\nabout myself and Jack Ruby, and would have to refer them elsewhere about others,\nbut in any case declined to answer in any manner, since I feel it is the duty of\nthe other officers to present themselves for questioning if a request is made\nby the FBI.\nThey asked me, or a conversation was started about the general picture as it\nstood with Ruby's act, and how it fouled the investigation of Oswald. I told\nthem I agreed that Ruby's act was very detrimen tal to the proper investigation\nof Oswald, and for that I condemn Ruby. I also asked them if they suspected\nany connection, or conspiracy involving Ruby that would make it a much more\nC-11"
