Centaral Councal of Amerionn Legion, dated 27th, signed by
B. H. and also your lettor of
Fobruary 16th, addressed to Farloy.
the purpase of this letter is to odviso you that
at loast 90, of our meabership consider you our friend and we sore
for you in the past and are for you notte It la vory regrettalite that
this resolution cano into your handa na it was never put before the
Couneil and vobed upone There was a notion mada to pass a resolution

As Chairman of the County l'entanal Council of
the American Legion you are adviped by 250 the resolution was never
authorised by the Council, and I personally tools the l'arley to
for having sent the renolution and for having algned it, as 21 is =y
proprogative to sign all resolutions as Chaigman of the Council.
It is believed any further antion would junt furthar
agitate the matior, but I want to give you ay assurance that your
actions in the Pelix Longaria case are consondable and we thank
you for having gane to the trouble and encense of endeavoring to help
a solilier who gave his life for his country
It is ay opinion that matbero of this do
not como undor the jurindiction of our council and that 100 should
not have taloon any part in 11, and certainly Farley mhould not
have signed the meuthorised resolution.
