I, Carl A. Palmblad, do declare on oath, that it
is bona fide my intention to become a Citizen of the United
States of America, and to renounce forever all allegiance and
fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sover-
eignty whatever, and particularly to the King of Sweden and
Norway of whom I am now a subject (and that I arrived in the
United States on the 15th day of March, 1899).
