Telecon Stu Alsop 4:20 p. m. 10/2/69 K sa id he talked to the President about Alsop's request to pblish his conversation with the President. The President doesn't feel he can give permission for this. The President heard A was in K's office and said just bring him up. Now it has stretched into more. There are 165 media people asking for interviews. K said he could xx wkxgdxix write it under the Lindy Rule and say that he saw the Pres. for a few minutes. Alsop wanted to say "those who have seen him recently, including this reporter, interpret his views i. in such a way. 11 K thought that was going too far. He said A could write about his state of mind. A agreed to the Lindy Rule and added that he rather thought this would happen anyway and was prepared for it. K wanted A to know that the President said this may make it possible for him to see A again.
