Ambassador Lucet - French

Lucet said he had a message from Schumann concerning the private
discussions K had with him. K had mentioned something personal.
Lucet wanted K to know that they completely agreed. x Lucet asked
if K would be in touch with him as to the exact day and place.
K said he would give him the day if it was to be, but Lucet should
name theplace. K asked Lucet to express his appreciation to Schumann
and that it should be kept strickly between them. Lucet agreed that it
would be just the principals.
Lucet expressed the desire to come in to see K regarding Pompidou's
visit to the U.S. K said he would be glad to see him.
