K said if then you are not satisfied, come in and see me. F said all
right. K said you talk with Sisco. F said all right, Joes' back in town.
F said I don't bother you--the only time I call you is when I think it
important that we converse. K said he told Garment to call you and he
said he did; he said he call Sisco, and Sisco was eager to talk to you.
K said I thought it was under control. F said my effectiveness is not
good unless I know what's going on. K said well that's in our own selfish
interest, the White House's.
F said David Rockefeller talked with him; he was in for an hour and a
helf. F said he wants to be the great diplomat now. K said they all do.
F said he said he saw the P. K said we hear a lot of people; that doesn't
mean anything.
F said I will call Sisco. F said I'm not going to bother you except in a
case of real importance. F said I just want to be kept informed. F said
there are going to be some real problems I visualize. K said good.
F
said he will be in town next week. K said right, bye.
