Telecon George Champion 12/17/69 12:20 p. m. C: I mentioned to the P a fact that at the Blue Ribbon Defense meeting they showed at the leat meeting a Russian official pitture of their armaments. It's shown in Russia and they charge admission; it's also shown in Japaa. It has not been released for showing here. It's a fascinating story of what the RU ssians are doing. It was narrated to us by Captain Murphey of the Navy; he was able to explain what types of tanks and missiles: types of rockets, anti-sub ships, the whole gamut. It was tremendously interesting and informative program for Americans who think Russia isn't doing anything in armaments. The P said he'd like to see it and asked me to give you a ring. K: Where can I get it, from the Fitz-Hugh panel? C: The Fitz-Hugh Panel doesn't have it; it was shown by the Navy. Why don't you call Fitz-Hugh or Fred Bussard (?). K: I'll set that up within the next couple of weeks. The P had mentioned this to me and I was just waiting for your call. Thank you for calling.
