L: Did you get my letter?
K: Yes, I got your letter; I was going to answer it today. I
won't be in town at that time, but would love to see you. Why don't
you come down some other day?
L: Would love to.

K: Any day?
L: Well, I'll be in New York beginning the 24th.
K: I'll probably be ging to the West Coast on Friday and won't
be back until the 6th.
L: Can we set it for sometime shortly after that? I'm going
into the hospital to have my gall bladder removed on the 14th.
K: Ugh. Let's sayd the 9th, unless I am in touch with you,
around 12:30 or 1:00. Let us know what plane you'll be coming in on
and we'll pick you up.
L: Shall I be there and we'll have lunch at 1:00.
K: No let's eat any time between 12:30 and 100. We'll eat in
my office; it's the best place to talk. The food is lousy, but as good
as the faculty club.
L: I don't come for the food. Friday xx the 9th; lunch at 12:30?
K: Yes.
