G: I don't know if you saw the telegram. Porter will be seeing Park. He is
running into flack on U.S. troops pulling out of Korea. Hewould like to be authorized
to say that it's under review and we would want to listen to Park before, etc.
K: I think that's all right.
G: Porter will be back here on the 16th. NSSM
will go to the NSC on the
18th and Porter will be here.
K: If he is here -- I cannot speak for the President -- but he likes Porter and
I am sure he would like to have him there. I will find out for you.
