K: The President says if he is pressed he will go on TV and do what you are
doing. When the Secy. of Defense cannot speak of defense anymore, then
we are in trouble. But just don't say SALT SO it won't look like we ?

L: I will send you a new draft tomorrow without it.
K: On the hitting -- he says it must be xx before Monday.
L: Iwent to Abrams today and he says we have taken them out at Bartholomy and
McGuia (?).
K: The 3 sites reaching into Laos.
L: Right. I went back and asid said find three sites.
K: The 3 at the border that can reach into Laos.
L: You saw the report this morning.
K: I saw a map where one is located and two unlocated.
L: They have been moved. We are locating them tonight and we will be bakc
to you tomorrow.
K: Then you can get them before Monday?
L: Yes. But we have to locate them and have something to you tomorrow
by 10:00.
